In November 2020 I resigned from my job as a telecom engineer and analyst after being elected County Supervisor. You see, I had a promise to keep (stopping the wind turbines) which couldn't happen unless I left my job at a utility company so I could fight against them to protect my home and my county. A longtime resident of Earlham, my husband Rex and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary this year. I am a Christian, conservative, constitutionalist. I understand that our freedom was bought, and continues to be purchased, at a great price. I have a big heart for our military and our veterans, as both friends and family have served and are currently serving in the military.
I love to fix broken things, improve processes and find solutions to problems long term. I face challenges with a roll-up-your-sleeves, think-outside-the-box, never-give-up attitude.
Common sense and no-nonsense lead to good governance. Rubber-stamping the status quo is lazy and unimaginative. Hard work isn't a dirty word. Madison County deserves public servants with "True Grit", and who understand their place is to serve, not rule.
